Chris Brown’s Heartbreak on a Full Moon Tour kicks off in just a few weeks, making it an appropriate time to drop a brand new visual. The black and white “Hope You Do” clip is standard Brown fare: danceable pop-R&B with raunchy lyrics and crisp choreography, this time with retro nods to Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” and Donell Jones’ “Where I Wanna Be” thrown into the mix. In the video, directed by Brown himself along with Daniel CZ, the singer and a team of dancers make their way through alleys and stairways, popping and gliding along the way.

The song is the latest single from the 45-track Heartbreak on a Full Moon album that dropped last fall. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart and eventually went platinum.

“Hope You Do” will likely find its way into the setlist for his upcoming tour, which kicks off in Auburn, Washington on June 19 and wraps up in Las Vegas on Aug. 4. The tour will also see H.E.R, 6lack and Rich the Kid hit the stage.
